Acne is the most common skin condition in the United States, affecting up to 60 million Americans and their self-esteem every year. Inspired by her own journey, Maedeh founded Urban Skin Care Clinic in February 2020, in Roswell, Georgia.

From the earliest days of her aesthetic career, Maedeh knew she wanted to work on the clinical side of the industry. Working in medical spa settings, she built over 10,000 hours of hands-on experience in clinical skin treatments and procedures — and continues furthering her education to stay current with industry innovations.

Maedeh started her career as a makeup artist, drawn to helping women feel confident in their own image. In her early 20s, she experienced adult cystic acne herself, and quickly learned that masking breakouts with makeup wasn't improving her skin, it was clogging her pores further.

Maedeh is passionate about helping women feel confident in their own skin by clearing acne, removing sun-damaged spots, and rejuvenating tired, dull complexions, so makeup becomes an option rather than a security blanket.

Outside the clinic, Maedeh is a mom to a 12-year-old daughter. When she's not treating clients, she's usually listening to podcasts, reading, or exercising.
